Miss Anna's Swim School was started more than 20 years ago by Anna Thornton. Elizabeth and Steve Slattery acquired Miss Anna's in 2004 and have continued to operate it since then. Originally located on White Bridge Road, Miss Anna's moved to Franklin in 2010 and relocated to Boost FitClub in 2015. We've taught thousands of children over the years, offering an individualized lesson plan for each child.
Meet Elizabeth Slattery
Elizabeth grew up in Kentucky and was a recreational swimmer at her local pool. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she lived in Louisville, Atlanta and Dallas before she and her husband Steve settled in Nashville 25 years ago. Miss Anna’s Swim School was a natural partner with Bluewater Scuba, the scuba diving business she and Steve owned for 14 years. They have three children, and Elizabeth has been an active volunteer in area community service organizations and her children’s schools and their church.
